Announcements from Tomebuy, and this edition's own record

Two records in one place: what Tomebuy has announced, and what this edition has altered since the last time it was published.

The official notice list, oldest first

Tomebuy keeps a notice list reachable from its home page. Five entries carried real content when we read it on 21 October 2026; three more held test titles with nothing in them, which we leave out. Nothing has been posted since January 2026.

NoticePostedWhat it says
Logistics system upgrade31 December 2025A phased upgrade to the logistics coordination system. Warehouse work, inspection and dispatch were said to continue as normal, with some tracking updates possibly slow to synchronise.
Warehouse storage policy reminder31 December 2025A reminder that the storage period runs from the stored-in-warehouse status, and that orders left past it are handled under the warehouse rules. The notice does not give a number, which is the safest thing it could have done given the three figures elsewhere.
Quality inspection scope clarification31 December 2025States that inspection focuses on visible appearance, that colour variance and how an item wears are outside it, and that electronics and digital products get an appearance check only.
Combined shipping recommendation19 January 2026Encourages combining warehouse items into one parcel, with professional packing, and asks users to watch parcel weight and item count to avoid a commercial classification.
New year operations and event19 January 2026Announces a limited-time promotional event and operational changes over the holiday period, without publishing dates or terms. Anyone counting on a promotion should ask support what is running.

Current promotions, coupons and rewards

There is no running campaign page to point at. What exists is three standing offers, none of them with published values:

  • A coupon for entering an invitation code at sign-up. The help centre says you can receive some coupons; it does not say how many or what they are worth.
  • Shipping coupons from occasional site activities. Described in general terms only. Some of the activities named in that passage look like boilerplate carried over from another service, so ask support what is actually running before counting on one.
  • A review-video reward. Post a review of your experience on social media, submit it through the reward section, and Tomebuy says you could receive up to the full order and shipping cost back in cash. The conditions are not published.

Our advice on all three: treat them as a bonus discovered after the fact, never as part of the price you planned.
